Carbon Steel EN-200 Bars are mainly composed of iron and carbon, with the carbon content being generally 0.35–0.45%, plus small amounts of manganese, silicon, and sulfur. This well-balanced composition gives the product good strength, ductility, and machinability. From a mechanical point of view, EN-200 Bars have a moderate tensile strength, are very resistant to impact and have good toughness. Moreover, they can be light metal-treated to obtain a better surface-hardness and wear-resistance thus they can serve as a stable material under load and mechanical stress and they will perform well.
